Still have questions?
What do I need to become a member of Auth0’s Research Program?
Membership is open to all current Auth0 users. You must be actively using Auth0 in order to participate, and your participation is independent of any contract you may have with Auth0. You can be on any subscription level with Auth0, including our Free tier. Participation in Auth0’s Research Program is independent of any other relationship you may have, including opting out of marketing communications.
What kinds of rewards or perks do members get?
All participants are paid for their time (exact amount varies based on the study), and on top of that, members receive periodic additional rewards, such as annual gifts or rewards for hitting certain participation milestones. That, of course, is on top of the direct line of feedback you get to provide to Auth0.
Do I need to live in a certain country or speak a specific language?
Participants can live in any country that Auth0 does business in, though the majority of our research will be conducted in English, so you’ll need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English. In the future, we hope to be able to offer localized research opportunities.
What will you do with my personal information?
Every live session will be recorded, and all of your asynchronous participations (surveys, unmoderated tests, etc) will also be recorded and stored for up to 2 years. We use all of this in order to make better decisions about the products and services we provide. We take data privacy seriously: the only people that have access to this data are those that need access, and if you would like your data to be deleted at any time, please email research@auth0.com. Auth0’s Research Program is subject to our privacy policy and our terms of service.
Do I have to sign an agreement form?
Yes. You will be presented with a Research Program Member Agreement form to sign during the application process. In the meantime, you can read the detailed terms of agreement here.
What if I decide to leave the program?
Just as you’re free to join, you’re free to leave the program at any point. You can do this directly via our Program Management tool (Great Question) or by emailing research@auth0.com directly.
Apply to our Research Program and collaborate with our team to help shape the future of Auth0’s products.
